360Fabriek · Immersive media studio

Visual power.Technical value.

Since 2014, our immersive media studio has built advanced products and applications across the XR industry. Our speciality: creating photorealistic digital versions of objects and environments. For scanning and Extended Reality solutions, we often act as an extension of existing research and development departments.

That combination of scanning expertise and software development sets us apart from other scanning companies and application developers. When existing solutions are not good or simple enough, we build the features and workflows that are needed.

We are now bringing that expertise and development capability to the new growth market opened up by SLAM and Gaussian Splatting.

Opportunity

New hardware.New users.

LiDAR scanning is still widely seen as complex: you need to be a surveyor to make it work. Many of these businesses therefore skip scanning altogether or choose a Matterport-like solution. SLAM makes capture simple, scalable and affordable — opening the market beyond surveyors and major construction companies.

Our estimate: within reach for 75% of the remaining market. These are the new users we are targeting.

Wkb

Wkb.A recurring need.

The Dutch Building Quality Assurance Act (Wkb) strengthens construction quality checks: contractors must document what they have built at handover, unless a valid agreement provides otherwise.

Gathering this evidence takes work; scattered photos, drawings and reports can lose both the overview and the spatial context.

This creates a recurring opportunity for scans and platform subscriptions: capture every construction phase, link evidence to its location and build one usable record for handover and operation.

The public quality assurance system covers designated new builds in consequence class 1; scans support the dossier and the independent quality assurer. Wkb and handover records · IPLO (Dutch)

360models

Every asset.One shared workspace.

360models is a scalable 3D asset management platform. It brings scans, models, drawings and documents together around the locations and objects your customers manage.

From one technical room to an entire asset portfolio: teams get a shared visual reference for inspection, preparation and collaboration. Built for managers, installers and project teams.

Organise

Keep assets, files and project information together in a structured library. Give teams a central place to find what they need.

Explore

Open 3D models, point clouds and Gaussian Splats in the browser. See the context, inspect details and measure where the data supports it.

Collaborate

Add annotations, link documents and share with customers and suppliers. Manage users and access around the same asset information.

APIs & embedded viewers

Part of the softwareyour customer already uses.

Existing softwareAPIs & embeds360models

Customers already have asset management systems and project portals. Our APIs connect scans, files and object information; embedded viewers bring the visual experience into those workflows. 360models can serve as their workspace or the 3D layer in their existing software.

More value from every scanner.

Offer your customers a way to keep using their captures. Bundle 360models with the hardware or integrate it into your own offering — creating a recurring software opportunity alongside scanner sales.

Partner selection

Finding the right partners.

We are speaking with several hardware suppliers and comparing them against the same criteria. We are looking for the best fit across three categories — and partners who want to develop this market with us.

  1. Do you see the same growth opportunity?

What do you think of our concept, and which customers beyond surveying and major construction do you see adopting it first?

  2. Which of the three categories can you cover?

Which devices fit Visual, Measure and Precision? What accuracy can we demonstrate in practice, and can you provide sample datasets?

  3. Can we automate processing on our infrastructure?

Is a CLI, SDK or API available for unattended processing? Can it run on our servers, or only through your software or cloud — under what licences, fees and limits?

  4. How open are the data and outputs?

Can we access raw scans and export point clouds and Gaussian Splats for third-party viewers? Which formats, usage rights or processing steps remain tied to your system?

  5. How would supply and pricing work?

Do we buy directly or through a Dutch or Benelux distributor? Please specify hardware, processing and licence costs, reseller terms, minimum orders and delivery times.

  6. Where do customers get service?

Who handles onboarding, technical support, repairs and calibration? Where is service based, what are the turnaround times, and is replacement hardware available?

  7. Could 360models add value for your customers?

Would you bundle our platform with your hardware or integrate our viewers and APIs into your offering? What technical and commercial support could you provide?

  8. Would you take a joint proposition to market?

Are you interested in shared demos, pilots and customer acquisition? How would we divide responsibilities, leads and the relationship with any existing distributors?

  9. Are you willing to co-invest?

Could you contribute demo hardware, engineering time, marketing budget or funding? What concrete contribution and conditions would you propose?

  10. What can we agree for a first pilot?

Which device and workflow can we test, with what success criteria and costs? Who owns the next step, and when can we start?
