For loss adjusters & restoration teams

Revisit the damage. Even after repairs.

Capture visible damage in photorealistic 3D during the first visit. Take measurements later, discuss findings and plan repairs. The record stays available after the site has been cleared.

Findings at the right component

Keep detail photos and observations with the machine being investigated.

Loss adjusting, policyholder representation & restoration

Get more from one visit.

For complex fire and water losses, technical damage and building condition surveys involving several parties.

Keep the wider picture

A photo shows a detail. A scan also preserves its surroundings. Revisit where components and visible traces were recorded.

Prepare repairs with context

Review dimensions, areas and access. Bring in a specialist or contractor before defining the scope and approach for repairs.

Reduce return visits

Answer follow-up questions from the scan. Colleagues who missed the survey can explore the site and move the case forward.

Capture before conditions change

Preserve what you found.

After fire or water damage, visible traces disappear during clean-up, drying and repairs. A timely scan preserves what you captured, as this illustrated factory example shows.

At the damage inspection

Record visible damage and the position of components. Attach detail photos, voice notes and investigation findings at the right location.

After clean-up and repairs

Traces have disappeared on site but can still be reviewed in the earlier scan. Experts can refer back to it when substantiating their findings.

  1. Initial inspection

The conditions found on site as a starting point.

  2. During restoration

Track progress and capture work before it is concealed.

  3. At completion

Compare scans with agreements, schedules and completed work.

One shared site record

Working together on the case

One recorded scene. A shared point of reference.

Adjusters, policyholder representatives, insurers and restoration partners view the same recorded conditions. Each in their own role, with access you control.

Findings in the right place

Annotate a component and attach photos, documents or voice notes. Discuss the exact location a question relates to.

More about managing and sharing

From site visit to usable 3D record

Walk through and scan. We handle the processing.

Take the scanner on your survey. Walk through accessible spaces and upload the scan folder. We take care of the technical processing.

Your expert or partner scans

You capture the site; we process it and make the result available in 360Models and/or your own software. We are happy to provide training in using the hardware.

Prefer to outsource?

We handle scanning and processing from €350 per site up to 250 m². Once after damage, or at agreed stages during restoration.

Practical questions

Where does 3D scanning add the most value?

Extensive fire and water damage, complex commercial buildings and technical installations, construction losses and building condition surveys before and after work. Particularly when conditions change quickly, several parties are involved or detail questions arise later. For a small, straightforward loss, a photo series may be sufficient.

We already take photos and write reports. What does this add?

The scan preserves spatial context: how rooms, installations and visible damage relate to each other. You can look around and, with suitable measurable scan data, revisit dimensions. Photos and reports remain valuable and can be attached directly to the relevant component.

Can we use measurements for a repair estimate?

Distances and areas can help establish the scope of repairs and prepare the work. Accuracy depends on the scanner, capture and processing. We match these to your application; critical fitting and fabrication dimensions should be checked on site.

What does a scan capture, and what does it not?

A scan records visible, accessible surfaces. Hidden damage, moisture levels and the cause of an incident require additional investigation. The capture supports your assessment and visual evidence; the expert draws the conclusions.

How do we manage access and retention?

You share through appropriate roles and permissions. We agree retention, storage and integration with your case management system to fit your organisation. Scans, annotations and documents can remain available to the relevant parties after repairs.
